Schools Closures
Note to Parents and Carers
Each Monday morning we will be sending a suggested home study timetable out via email if we have your address and also uploaded to the class pages of the website.
This is a suggestion of learning challenges to support your child’s continued progress during the prolonged school shut down.
All children have their pink ‘Home Learning’ book in which to do this work.
If you would like to email work to class teachers for feedback then please use the email addresses below.
If you have any queries then please contact us and we will do all that we can to support you.
In the meantime – please stay at home and stay safe.
-with the best of wishes from all at St. James’.

In Autumn 1 we explored the question,
Could you be an explorer?
We talked about the different places that children wanted to explore through our key text 'Dear Teacher'. We learnt about the 7 continents and 5 oceans as part of our learning too!
In Autumn 2 we explored the question,
Could you be a vet?
We have been learning about the different pet people have, how to look after them and what a vet's job is. We have done this through our key texts The job, Mog and V.E.T and Six dinner Sid. The children have loved making pet carriers for Mog the kitten!
