At St. James' Infant and Nursery School we follow the Learning Challenge curriculum. This is built upon questions and gives pupils the opportunity to take ownership of their learning. At the end of each term the children take part in a planning conference when they have the chance to come up with their own questions regarding a particular area of study. This is a great way to motivate the children.
Each term we have a whole school question and each week individual classes will have a question of the week. This is introduced on a Monday morning and is the title page for their planning booklet which each child has in their learning journey.
See below for examples of weekly planning sheets.
